Handmade Ceramic 5 Piece Gather & Graze Set | Wandering Checks Pottery Rustic Charcuterie Serving Platter and Appetizer Plates
$90.00
Wandering Checks — A Little Pattern, A Lot of Handmade Charm
Meet Wandering Checks, a new signature pattern from White River Pottery.
A little rustic, a little playful, and wonderfully imperfect, this five-piece serving set brings something special to everyday gatherings.
Each piece begins with our warm, creamy Heritage Base glaze, softly speckled and finished with loose, hand-brushed charcoal checks. Some lines are bold, others barely whisper across the surface. They wander, overlap, fade, and occasionally seem to lose their way.
Just as we like them.
THE FIVE-PIECE SET INCLUDES
1 generously sized, hand-formed serving platter
4 coordinating small appetizer plates
Perfect for cheeses, crackers, olives, fruit, little bites, and all the good things people gather around.
THE WANDERING CHECKS FINISH
Our charcoal checks are intentionally irregular. They aren't printed, stenciled, or mechanically repeated.
Each brushstroke carries its own personality, with variations in darkness, spacing, and direction.
The warm Heritage Base glaze allows the natural character of the stoneware to shine through, complemented by subtle black speckling and gently wandering edges.
MADE BY HAND, NOT BY MACHINE
Every White River piece is individually formed, with the little differences that make handmade pottery so special.
Expect softly uneven rims, quiet surface movement, slight variations in shape, and the occasional glimpse of natural clay where the glaze breaks.
No two sets will be exactly alike, but every set will share the same distinctive Wandering Checks character.
MADE FOR GATHERING
Bring it out for appetizers before dinner, a leisurely afternoon with friends, holiday entertaining, or a quiet evening with your favorite cheeses and something good to drink.
It also makes a thoughtful handmade gift for housewarmings, weddings, and anyone who appreciates pottery with a little soul.
HANDMADE AT WHITE RIVER POTTERY
Made individually, with care, character, and a healthy appreciation for imperfection.
Food and decorative accessories shown in styled photographs are not included.
