This hand-formed Upright Spoon Rest keeps your favorite cooking spoon close at hand while giving drips and splashes somewhere beautiful to land.

Rather than lying flat on the counter, the spoon rests naturally against a tall, softly wandering back while the lower cradle catches the mess. Simple, useful—and pretty enough to stay beside the stove even when dinner is over.

Each one is individually slab built by hand in my White River Pottery studio. The shape is intentionally organic, with gently wandering edges and the subtle differences that come from forming every piece one at a time.

Finished in Heritage Cream, my warm, quiet glaze allows the character of the stoneware to remain part of the piece—soft natural variation, restrained speckling and glimpses of warm clay along the handmade edges.
