A butter dish with a little personality.

Hand formed in my White River Pottery studio, this rustic butter service was designed for the everyday table—the kind of piece that can stay out, get used, and only become more at home with time.

The generously shaped, bowl-style butter crock is paired with a deliberately relaxed lid. It isn't meant to look machine-fitted or perfectly matched.

The lid settles naturally over the crock with the wonderfully imperfect character of handmade pottery.

An organically shaped underplate and handmade pottery spreader complete the set.

Finished in Heritage Cream, the surface is warm and quiet, with subtle natural speckling, soft glaze variation and glimpses of the stoneware clay along the hand-formed edges.

Each piece is individually formed by hand. Expect wandering edges, slight variations in shape and glaze, and a lid that has its own wonderfully imperfect fit.
No two services will ever be exactly alike.
