One-of-a-kind original ceramic pendant necklace, hand painted with vintage jewelry attachment.
There is only one of this design, and there will not ever be another.
The vintage bee is from my 70 year-old collection of signed, designer vintage jewelry treasures,and the clay I used to form the pendant is some of the last of my Highwater Clay stash…..sadly after 45 years of production, Highwater closed forever after being ravaged by Hurricane Helene. They produced a clay body so stellar that it inspired me to get my hands dirty every single day.
I have 2 boxes left, and every day I pass them, wondering how to best honor their legacy. I decided the best way was to make small, one-of-a-kind pieces to be worn and hopefully, treasured.
I hope you will appreciate the history behind these pieces.
